This magnificent bracelet by american jeweller Betteridge is an exceptionally fine example of its era. Handcrafted in platinum and artfully à-jour-set with 492 old-cut diamonds and 62 square-cut emeralds, this bracelet is a true work of art.
Founded at the end of the 19th century, the Betteridge name is synonymous with high quality jewellery. The family business, which is still in existence today, created unique pieces of jewellery during the Art Deco period of the early 20th century.
This bracelet nestles gently around the wrist and adapts to every movement thanks to its finely crafted hinges. Delicate openwork four-leaf clovers amid the sparkling diamonds and lush green emeralds give the bracelet its effortless lightness.
The larger three Old European cut diamonds are of H/I colour and si clarity and have a total weight of approximately 4.65 carats. The slightly smaller 57 Old European cut diamonds are of the same colour and vs/si clarity, total weight approximately 6.90 carats. 432 old single-cut diamonds of H/I colour and vs/si clarity, total weight approximately 13.00 carats, complete this beautiful bijou.
