This unique and fantastic bracelet by renowned jeweller Rothmuller of Munich dates back to around 1908. Honoured with the exclusive title of court jeweller (Hofjuwelier) in 1908, Karl Rothmuller was one of the most sought-after jewellery artists of his time. Founded in 1886, the family business was also among the exclusive circle of exhibitors at the Paris World Exhibition of 1900, where it was awarded both a silver and a bronze medal.
Designed as a delicate combination of Belle Epoque and Art Nouveau elements, this bracelet features 19 black opals with vivid play of colour, 36 natural pearls ranging from 2.7 to 4.3 mm in diameter, and Old European cut diamonds as well as rose cut diamonds. Accented by colourful, round cut rubies and demantoid garnets. Each link is artfully designed and masterfully attached to the adjoining elements. Superb craftsmanship in platinum 950 and 18 karat yellow gold.
